DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nSignup now open - Please understand that the dates m
 ay change and the cost may change.\n\nThe Angel Island trip is a fun trip 
 to Angel Island located in the San Francisco Bay. We will be hiking 1 or 2
  miles in from the ferry to our campsite and can spend the day exploring t
 he trails of Angel Island\, which holds great views of San Francisco\, an 
 old military base/installation\, a former immigration station as well as a
 n old missile launch site. The next day\, we will travel to San Francisco 
 where we can explore the different attractions of the city by foot.\n\nThe
 re is an issue with raccoons at the Angel Island campsite\, so you should 
 make sure to pack rope or a bear canister as protection for your food. It 
 is basically a backpacking trip\, which means that food should be backpack
 ing food and easily portable. There is no service project this year\, so w
 e can spend the entire time exploring. Bring a daypack with you as well as
  money to be spent in San Francisco for lunch and any other purchases. If 
 possible\, bring a phone to be able to contact other scouts in San Francis
 co.\n\nThe date for this trip will be September 19-20\, however if this da
 te cannot be reserved the we will reschedule the trip to sometime in Augus
 t.\n\nSaturday:\n8:00 Meet at POP\, leave by 8:15\n10:00 Take the first fe
 rry from Tiburon to Angel Island\n11:00 Set up camp\nSpend the rest of the
  day hiking and exploring the island\n\nSunday:\n10:20 Leave Angel Island 
 on 1st ferry out\nDrive from Tiburon to SF\, find a place to park\n11:00 E
 xplore SF\, can be broken up into groups or as a troop.\nLeave at any time
