SUMMARY:Venture Crew-Castle Rock Overnighter
DESCRIPTION:Venture Crew 325 is inviting Scouts of Troop 325 to join them o
 n this outing.\n\nWe're hitting the trail and not coming back.....until th
 e next day. It's an overnight backpacking trip. Meet at Prince of Peace at
  8:00am SHARP on Saturday. From Castle Rock parking lot we'll hike 2.2 mil
 es to the trail camp. Set up camp then do a day hike that will involve ori
 enteering. Crew/Scouts will return to Prince of Peace Sunday by noon. Crew
  /Scouts will call family member when leaving Castle Rock for confirmed ar
 rival time at PoP. This outing will teach light weight backpacking skills 
 and orienteering. Be prepared for cold weather. Crew/Scouts will cook thei
 r own meals\, backpacking style.\n\nMrs. Hasenberg will lead a demonstrati
 on and discussion on lightweight backpacking and cooking at the troop meet
 ing December 12.
