Here is the email he sent:\n\n \;\n\n\n\n\n\nHello\, \n\nMy name is Hrishi Koush ik and I'm from Troop 200 in SIlicon Valley!\nI am currently pursuing my E agle Scout and finishing my Eagle project as a boy scout. \nMy project ma inly aims to assist people experiencing homelessness in Santa Clara Commun ity\, my hometown\nI would greatly appreciate it if this information cou ld be forwarded to the SPL of your troop!\n\n\nBefore I get into my reques t here are a couple of facts about Homelessness where we live today\,\n\n\ n In Santa Clara County (where I live) there are nearly seven thousand pe ople experiencing homelessness\n Homelessness in Santa Clara County costs roughly $520M annually\n\nThis shows just how big of a problem homelessne ss is\, and how much help the problem needs to eventually be solved. \n\n I know that no one person can make such a large difference and I'm not cla iming to end homelessness\, but simply help my community and it's people t o the best of my abilities.\n\nAs such I developed my Eagle Project in two parts\, one being to develop hygiene kits for HomeFirst\, a (beneficiary) homeless shelter in my area. As well as the second part of my project bei ng education\, where I would like to make a request.\n\nI am organizing a couple of zoom sessions open to troops and packs in our area where scouts will learn valuable information about homelessness\, the role it plays in our society\, and how scouts can help people experiencing it.\nNot only wi ll scouts learn information\, they will also learn how to develop hygiene kits themselves with a location to acquire materials\, methods of fundrais ing\, and valuable leadership opportunities for them to display in their troop as well.\n\nThanks for taking time to read this email and forward in formation to your troop!
