DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhitewater Rafting and Camping on the Ame
 rican River.\nDate : 08/18/2023 5 PM - 08/20/2023 11 AM.\nGet ready for an
  exciting white water rafting on the American River. We will be rafting ab
 out 15 miles (4-5 hrs) from 11 AM Saturday and ending around 5 PM. The sou
 th fork of American River has class 2 and 3 rapids and perfect for younger
  scouts. Rafting will be on a 8 person raft with a professional guide.\nHe
 lmet and safety vest will be provided\, but we need to wear comfortable cl
 othes (with sun protection) and closed toe slippers/shoes is mandatory (no
  flip flops). Water bottles can be carried\, but ensure it can be tied/hoo
 ked to ropes in the raft. Any loose items has to be secured and water tigh
 t as it will get wet. Scouts will have ample opportunities to jump into th
 e water and have fun when there are no rapids.\n\nCamping will be on site 
 Friday and Saturday night. Departure around 5 PM Friday and dinner will be
  on you (packed or on the way). We cook Saturday breakfast\, Saturday dinn
 er and Sunday breakfast. Saturday lunch will be provided during our raftin
 g adventure.\n\nNote: Siblings are welcome as long as they are 7+ years an
 d at least 50lbs.\nLocation: Action Whitewater Adventures\, 6260 Highway 4
 9\, Lotus\, CA 95651.\nThey are reputed and operating safely for over 35 y
