What does it mean to join scouting?

Answer: Joining scouting means that you will take part in a growing community of millions of individuals that believe in the scout oath and motto. We believe in building, supporting, and maintaining a strong community.

 

How much time do I have to put into scouting?

Answer: We meet regularly on Tuesdays from 7PM to 8:30PM, besides our regular meetings we encourage each scout to attend most of our variety of outings equivalent to one to two outings every month.

 

Are there any requirements needed to join?

Answer: We welcome all boys aged 11 to 17 whether you were a Cub Scout or not. Official requirements are: “Be a boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old.”

 

What are the benefits of joining scouting?

Answer: Make new friends, go new places, learn new skills, explore the outdoors, learn leadership skills, build self-confidence, give service to others in the community and most importantly – Have Fun!

 

Where and when do you meet?

Answer: Troop 325 meets at Prince of Peace Church regularly Tuesdays from 7PM to 8:30PM.

 

How can I join Troop 325?

Answer: To be a part of our troop is very easy “process” to go through. Simply come to one of our regular Tuesday meetings and observe our Troop. At the end you can speak to one of our adult leaders to start the signup process.
