Utika Kayak Trip

The cost of this outing is to cover the Kayak Rental, Kayak Trailer, Camping Fee, Fuel Costs.

Food is to be taken care of by the individual.  It is recommended that each individual bring dehydrated backpacking meals such a “Mountain House” meals that can be obtained from REI or other camping supply stores.

Plan will be to canoe or Kayak across the lake and camp.

This will require primitive camp site camping.  No latrine, no running water.  Water filtration will be a requirement.

All Attendees must have passed the swim test.

• 4:30 am depart POP
• 8:00 am arrive Arnold Ca
  • Breakfast in Arnold
• 9:00 depart Arnold with kayaks
• 10:30 arrive Union Campground.
• 11:30 Use Campground Outhouse then Launch Kayaks
• 13:00 Land and Set Camp
  • Lunch
  • Designate Latrine location
• 14:00 Launch Kayak Exploration, Safe Swim Area, Fishing
• 16:30 Return to Camp.
• 17:00 Dinner
• 18:00 Campfire
• 21:00 First Class and Below Bed Down
• 22:00 lights Out

• 6:00 Revile
• 7:00 Breakfast
• 8:00 Morning Paddle
• 10:00 Strike Camp and Launch
• 11:00 Land and Load Boats
• 12:00 Depart Union Campground
• 13:30 Arrive Arnold return Kayaks, Lunch
